Lead Carpenter

We are looking for the right Lead Carpenter to join our team.

Qualifications

Successful, proven experience working as a Lead Carpenter. Show us your:

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Outstanding skills in all facets of carpentry.

  • People oriented, looking out for both our clients' and our company's best interests, instinctively.

  • Ability to simultaneously run a smaller job or two while self-producing a larger project.

  • Ability to operate and effectively utilize online construction management software, such as Co-Construct.

  • Driven to succeed, as measured by creating delighted clients and closing projects on time and on budget.

  • Desire to work with a Family-owned, Family-oriented company with flexible hours. We are big enough to be supportive and small enough to personally care about your success.

  • Live near, or relocate to, a close proximity to our office in DeForest, just north of Madison, WI.

Expectations

  • Be a good steward of our clients' homes.  They trust us with their remodeling work, and we MUST have trust in you.

  • Deliver outstanding carpentry, both rough and finish work, as a standard.

  • Learn the skills and systems we have developed over the last 30 years.

  • Teach your skills to others as needed.

  • Take large and small projects from Job File through completion, on time and on budget

  • Work with other carpenters and schedule our Trade Teams on site to achieve our goals, while exceeding client expectations and meeting our budget.

  • Complete all required layout off of blueprints, whether online or paper drawings.

  • Order necessary materials & supplies as needed.
