Dave Dewell - Designer Degnan Design Build Remodel

Dave Duewel - Senior Designer

Dave found his love for Architecture at a young age when he discovered that most of his toys involved the concept of building. He continued that love through education and soon after graduation began a career in Commercial Architecture producing construction documents to learn how a building really comes together.

His true passion, however, came about a few years later when he entered the Custom Residential Design market. It is here that he really dove into the design process with the intent of making each project just what the homeowner envisioned to enhance their lifestyle. His detail oriented approach is a welcomed addition to the Degnan design team.

Dave leads the Design Team, and is in charge of shepherding our clients through the Design & Preconstruction process.

No matter what the budget, it is all in the attention to detail.

I find the before and after transformation the most rewarding. To take an aspect or area of our clients home that was underwhelming, outdated, or underutilized, and turn it into a functional and WOW inspiring space is a lot of fun!

PJ Ender - Lead Carpenter

PJ graduated with his B.S. in Graphic Design in 2002. Finding the employment market to be saturated and unable to find a job, he was able to fall back on his expertise as a laborer with experience in framing, roofing, and siding. His experience working with a commercial general contractor allowed him to improve upon his skills and gain the knowledge and necessary ability to begin his own company. These years of experience and expertise in the field are what led him to become the Lead Carpenter for Degnan Design Build Remodel.

I like tearing down the walls and opening up confined spaces. When the client sees the new open space for the first time, or light reaches new spots in their home, their eyes light up and they always say “Wow!” When the finishing touches like the walls get painted, trim gets installed, and counter tops go in - it’s at that point which the client greatly anticipates the new look their home has at the end of every day. When they smile, I smile.

Initially I intended to build the deck myself. I am so glad that I chose Degnan Design-Build-Remodel. Anthony addressed details that I never would have noticed. My deck is beautiful and I am glad I left the work to a true craftsman.

Abe Degnan and associates were very easy to work with on every stage, from beginning discussions and planning (where well-drafted illustrations helped ‘see’ the project), a thorough review of material choices, inspections demands & licensing needed, and time frames with cost limitations. The work was done as promised and on time.
