A Modern Finished Basement That Incorporates Universal Design

This lower living space provides wheelchair accessibility

This accessible home, built in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin for a wounded warrior and his family, is defined by its open spaces, and beauty. Complete with large, low windows, wide hallways, and cabinets set at various heights, every detail was considered in making this house a welcoming and convenient home for this hero. The home has a residential elevator provides full accessibility to the lower level where there is a guest bedroom and bathroom, as well as a kids play area, family room and ample space for storage.

This basement project is part of our Madison Area Builders Association 2015 Parade Home
