This Unique Home Is a Repurposed Barn With An Updated Bath

In 1998, these ambitious Waunakee, Wisconsin homeowners dismantled a barn and turned the old timber into their dream home.  After they moved in, they discovered the master suite design left much to be desired. Beams fell in the middle of the rooms, spaces were cut off, and the bathroom lacked efficiency and beauty.  A complete redesign was in order, so we went to work creating an exceptional, one-of-a-kind space.

This is a Wisconsin Builder Association Remodeling Awards winning bathroom.

Whirlpool Soaking Tub

The Mirabelle Acrylic Air Massage tub is from Delta and the faucets are Boulevard Maple. The vanities are by Auburn Ridge Cabinetry. The look is Knotty Alder wood, with a Briarwood door style.

Custom Tile Walk-In Shower

A custom tile layout echoes the unique floor plan. The shower is set at an angle, opening it to the bathroom while avoiding a window and maintaining a useful amount of space in the adjacent loft area.
