Upside Down to Right Side Up Home

Recognized as a National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), Contractor of the Year (CotY) award-winner.

It was time for a new beginning for this Westport/Waunakee, Wisconsin home. Our homeowner had always dreamed of remodeling, and after a difficult couple of years, she finally was able to call us with a request to begin the design process. The original home was built in the 1980s and featured an upside-down floor plan: bedrooms on the ground floor, kitchen, and living room on the top.

We began with a list of design features she needed changing, including the removal of sliding glass doors in every bedroom and attaching a garage that was over 24 feet away.

A Custom Designed Home

Some of the features of this home include a Kohler whirlpool tub, Grohe bathroom fixtures in the master bath, Auburn Ridge maple cabinetry with a Greenwich door style, in cocoa, a Sharp microwave drawer, Mirabelle kitchen faucet, LG French three-door refrigerator, Viking cooktop, Best range hoods range hood, KitchenAid wall oven, and Electrolux washer and dryer. High-End Materials

This home has a 42" gas fireplace. The windows are by Anderson Windows. The kitchen, dining room and great room have engineered 3/8 inch hardwood flooring in Meridian Ferrier Maple with a sound deadening.
