Morgan was voted MVP by her peers at Degnan Design-Build-Remodel in Quarter 2 of 2023 and again in Quarter 2 of 2025

Designer Morgan McMahon joined the team in 2022 while at Madison College in the design program. With several years of experience, Morgan earned two significant certifications through NARI: Universal Design Certified Professional (UDCP) and Certified Remodeling Designer (CRD). These two designations reflect the experience and knowledge that Morgan already has learned, and thanks to continuing education, we know that Morgan will continue to grow in her expertise. Let’s let Morgan introduce herself to you:

I have always had a deep connection to the remodeling industry. With the help of my parents who have been involved in the field for decades, my passion was shaped at a young age. My mother is a self-employed interior designer, and my father works as a project manager and estimator. Growing up, I spent time on job sites with my dad learning carpentry, while also working alongside my mom to gain hands-on experience in interior design. These early experiences inspired me to pursue a career in remodeling and design.

In 2019, I had the opportunity to help my dad build our family cabin on land in Richland County. I grew up spending time there hunting, fishing, hiking, and taking in the outdoors. This passion remains a big part of my life today. During the 2024 and 2025 muzzleloader seasons, I was featured on Midwest Outdoors, partnering with the nonprofit Forest Feeding Families. The collaboration focused on donating venison to food pantries while promoting deer conservation and education. Being able to give back to the community through one of my lifelong hobbies has been especially meaningful.

Outside of work, I enjoy attending concerts, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. In 2025, I traveled to Europe for the first time, exploring Copenhagen and Prague. One of my favorite parts of the trip was experiencing the architecture—from historic landmarks to modern design. I am always looking for new places to travel whether that is in Wisconsin or around the world.
