David Luecht, MPM

David Luecht, MPM is the Production Manager for Degnan Design-Build-Remodel. We asked him a few questions recently to allow you to get to know him better.

David, where have you lived? As a kid I grew up in Wisconsin Rapids.  In 1992 I joined the US Navy.  I was stationed in Orlando, FL and Norfolk, VA.  I have also lived in Minnesota.  Now, Windsor, WI is where I make my home.

What about your family?  In 1993, I married my High School Sweetheart, Cara. We have 4 kids, Taylor, Ian, Paige and Scout.

Did you go to college? Yes, in 2008, after I was 35 years old and had a family, I decided to go back to school. In 2011, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Technology Management with a Minor in Design Drafting.  I then continued for a master’s degree in Project Management and graduated in 2013.

What’s your favorite food? Do you like to cook? Yes, yes, yes, I love a great BBQ! Ribs, brisket, and pulled pork are on the top, and don’t forget about a Med-Rare Ribeye or Prime Rib.  Anything off the grill or smoker is AWESOME!

Do you have any favorite shows? Law and Order, Deadliest Catch, Food Network: Especially when I’m watching in my favorite TV room, my screen porch.

Have you done much traveling? I would say so. Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Cuba, Bahamas, many states throughout the US.

How about a favorite quote? “You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful place in the world… but it requires people to make it a reality.” -Walt Disney

What are your favorite sports? Golf and Fishing

What values are important to you? Faith, integrity, excellence, growth, consistency, accountability, quality, work-life-balance, achievement, and growth.

What about challenges? That’s a great question.  I always look forward to the challenging opportunities that arise that allow me to stretch myself into new and unknown areas.
