Design Assistant Zach Degnan continues the family legacy at Degnan Design-Build-Remodel. The oldest member of the third generation, let’s meet him!

Tell us about your Education: I graduated from Madison College in 2024 with an Associate’s degree in Architectural Technology.

What’s your family like? I am the oldest the 6 Degnan kids. In 2023, I married my wife, Paige. We are now expecting our first child, a boy.

What are you proud of? I am proud of completing my Associate’s degree while getting married and moving, along with being a working student.

How about your favorite movie? I’m a big fan of the first 6 Star Wars movies, but I am also equally a fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy (extended editions of course.)

Do you like to travel? Where have you been? Yes, I love to travel. I’ve been on vacation with my family all over the US, to 22 different states (not counting Wisconsin). The most recent was a vacation to Hawaii for my parent’s 25th anniversary. Paige is a big fan of Disney so we like to visit as often as we can (she’s been there 10 times.)

So where is your dream vacation? Our current dream vacation is a Disney cruise to Alaska.

Will you share about your values and faith? Paige and I are very involved in our church, Bedrock Church in Rio, WI. Paige’s mom is the Senior Pastor. In September 2023 we became the youth leaders.

And do you play any musical instruments? Throughout middle and high school I played both the trumpet and French horn. Currently I own a trumpet (though I do need to brush up on my skills!)

What is your favorite sport or exercise? I’m a big fan of swimming.
